Sandra J. Botson, President
Sandra J. Botson has 29 years of extensive experience in union and non-union, for profit and not-for-profit environments. Sandy is experienced in all aspects of human resources including cost containment, productivity, performance management, development of efficient and effective HR policies and processes, employee relations, traditional and non-traditional benefits, compensation, communications, and development of effective work flow processes. She has earned national recognition for her innovative employee friendly work/family programs. Ms. Botson is the founder and President of Human Resources Alternatives.
Prior to starting her own consulting firm, Sandy served as the Human Resources Director for two local healthcare facilities and for a major Philadelphia law firm. She founded Human Resources Alternatives in 1992 to provide cost effective services to companies. Over the last 19 years, Ms. Botson has worked with a variety of industries including law, manufacturing, financial services, chemical, information technology, engineering, insurance, construction, and others ranging in size from 6 to 1,200 employees.
Ms. Botson has been a guest speaker for local and regional organizations, has presented multiple training programs on HR issues and has written articles for professional newsletters. Sandy received her B.S. degree in Business Management from St. Joseph's University and Accreditation as a Professional in Human Resources from the National Society for Human Resources Management. She is also certified in Law Office Management and has been a facilitator for their course. She is a member of the National Society for Human Resources Management, The Greater Valley Forge Human Resources Association, The MidAtlantic Business Alliance, The Chester County Human Resource Association, and past member of the Philadelphia Association of Legal Administrators and Independence Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators.
